    SS Rider Toy

Heres a SS period toy that you dont see to often - SS rider holding a Reichkriegsflag setting on a wind-up horse with a saddle blanket etc, the toy is made out of tin and works moving itself forward. The maker is "Elefant" overall condition is excellent -was wondering if anyone could tell me what a price on this could be.
    Thanks

      2 streams of collecting

I cant tell you any prices, but I am aware that there is a whole other world of collectors: old toy collectors some who like painted metal, wind-ups, etc. So it is desired by them, without any militaria ties . Add the militaria, SS, horse etc. and maybe even better? You will have to check both worlds of collecting as some dont care about the other aspects. Example: one only wants it as a wind up metal horse and could care less about an SS tie-in, and another only cares that it is an SS toy.
      hope this helps a bit.

        Ss Toy

Have had a great number of Emails and words of wisdom relative to this toy, some clowns even tell me its made in japan etc obviously little knowledge of toys.
Heres a little more info : the maker mark is an "Elephant head" which is marked on the underside of the tin horse along with DRGM, also a B & S mark is on the upper portion near the rider(hard to take picture) which indicates that the maker is Blamer & Schuler a toy maker from Nurenberg,Germany established in 1919 and known for tin wide-up toys also during the III Reich - this is a very rare in A-1 condition tin toy which is close to one of a kind when compared to tanks, planes etc.
Havent established a price yet but will be open to offers to this A-1 condition period SS rider tin toy. Has a wide range of interest i.e., toy,SS,etc.
