    Nsdap Pin

Bought a few years ago from Winkler. Looks really good, but has the Ges.Gesch. together with RZM on the backside.

    What do you think?

        Pin

I'm not completely familiar with the earlier pins that have the Ges.Gesch. designation. I can't see anything wrong with it. It looks like other original Party pins I've owned. Looks OK to me.

It could be a transistinal piece. However it's always difficult to give a good opinion on some of these badge. Personally I always prefer the textbook examples because I feel more comfortable with them. But that's just me

I'm with Theo - I've never liked these backs. The front does look good, except I see the hyphens on either side of "DAP" are buried under the red enamel, which I don't like to see, and the pinplate doesn't fit the circle.

It may mean nothing, but I also like more standard badges.

Good point about the pin attachment. It's not round like it should be. It's oval, as though it was made for a different pin. Here's an RZM one for comparison:

PS - Also note the "positioning" lines to show what angle to place the pin.
