      Robert-
A Small Quantity Of The S A Bergrocks Were Found In The Early 90's In Pommerania, A Part Of The Old East Germany. All Were Unissued Like Yours. They Are Two Distinct Models Of This Tunic. The Second Style Is The Same Cut Without The Closed Sleeves. Bergrocks Are Not A Commonly Found Tunic.

Thanks Bob, I only have the Angolia SA insignia book and it doesn't have this uniform type in it. Since mine has the open cuffs, is it the first model? Were they worn with insignia?

All Of The Bergrock Were Worn With Standard Pattern S A Insignia. The One You Have Is A Service Model. The Other Model Was In The Same Cut But For Dress..a Rare Tunic To Find. There Is Some Information On Them In Jill Halcomb's Bood, " The S A."

            Robert,
You can see your tunic being worn on page 326 and 327 in the Angolia book. The photo's captions don't mention it, but it is the 2 pocket Bergrock being worn. There's another picture in the same book but I can't find it just now.
