            What are the dimensions? Boy, such an odd piece, especially the back. Looks like it's made to swivel upward. It sure looks neat. It's weird that the wreath and swastika are so large compared to the eagle. If it's not authentic, it sure looks like it !! I tend to think it's real, because if some was going to make a fake like this, they probably wouldn't have gone to the trouble making the back side like this. They probably would have just drilled some holes in it for mounting. The back looks like it had some special purpose. Thanks for posting!!

                Unless it was faked in the 60's, I'd say this piece is real because it shows some real age.

                It's probably an authentic, early eagle.


                I am not any kind of expert though.
