    Hello An interesting tunic. I've been looking for a set of tabs like this for a couple of years. I picked up this tunic with white twist cord pipping. I think the guy I got it from added the blue pipped tabs to match a visored cap. Kirby

            I really like the RZM marked Assmann buttons with the eagle on the front. I had no idea such buttons existed. I just might have to get a nice NSDAP tunic one of these days, thanks for sharring.

                It Is Now My Understanding That I Have An Orts Level Tunic With Hilfsstellenleiter ( Assistant Bureau Leader) Tabs Used 1933 1934.the Background Color Of The Tabs To My Understanding Is Referd To As Town Level Of Command ,correct Me If I Am Wrong Jeff,but Thats How I Am Reading This. The Question Is How Did The Tabs Get On The Tunic?i Will Post Pics Of The Attached Threading For The Tabs And Tell Me What You Think.

                          Hello John The button on my tunic are marked with a single RZM and M5 76 6. Thanks for the input on the tunic Bob. I would like to know if Jeff agrees with Bob that the off white twist cord pipping on my tunic is a post war add on. I can't find anything like it in his book but I have run across a couple of single political tabs at the Max and SOS with white twist cord pipping. Sorry for hijacking Johns thread.                               Hey Bob I Certainly Respect Your Opinion And Experience But That Leaves Me Confused.in Uniforms And Badges Of The Third Reich By Rudolf Kahl Volume One Pages 12 13 Is Does Not Show Group Leader As The Tabs Shown On The Thread.. Group Leader Is Shown Very Diferent ,maybe I Am Looking At It The Wrong Way But I See Example 17 As Hilfsstellenleiter As The Tabs I Have On The Tunic Not How The Line Of The Insignia Travels Full Length Of The Tab And On Group Leader And Block Leader Tabs Is Is Shorter And They Are In Gold As Well Please Correct Me If I Am Wrong ,john
