    Mussert-Garde pin?

    Anyone know what this represents &/or if it's rare or interesting?

      Originals of these are very rare, & they have been heavily faked, many of which are a high quality. Unfortunately this is one of them, an easy version to spot as they should not have screw fixings.

          The Mussert-Garde was a Netherland NS organization like the SS in Germany, founded 1933 and helping the National Socialists in the Netherlands to secure their actions and meetings. Henk Feldmeijer was one of the first to organize this unit.

            I just want to explain the name Mussert.

            Anton Adriaan Mussert (* 1894 + 1946 executed in NL because of collaboratin with the Germans). He started the NSB (the Nazi Party) of the NL.
            In 1941 he also started the SS-Freiwilligen-Legion Niederland.
            1942 he received the title "Führer des Niederländischen Volkes" - Leader of the Netherland people.
