    NSKK mystery patch

    Dear NSKK buffs,

It would seem I have found a photo showing some armed NSKK men, and not SS men as I first thought.

But so far nobody has been able to tell me what the collar patch insignia is. I thought SS-runes + a Standarte number. But it seems I am wrong. But what is it then?

    The photos are here: http://forum.axishistory.com/viewtop...?f=50&t=138585

The one at the very bottom is the "best" one for viewing the collar patch I am talking about.

Many, many thanks for checking out this patch!

    Best regards,

    Lars

These Appear To Be Early Photos Of S A Men Attached To A Stabswache Unit Or Staff Guard. The Unit Collar Tabs Are Indistinct And Do Not Resemble Anything N S K K. The Color Of The Helmets And The Great Coats Indicate Early S A.

      Sa?!

      Dear Bob,

      Many thanks for your feedback.

Do you mean these greatcoats were specific to the SA? I know almost nothing about greatcoats...

      Cheers,

      Lars

From The Tones In The Photo. I Believe The Colors Of The Mantels Matches S A Coats
