Picked up a "lot" of stuff, and this board was in it.
HJ Doctor candidate????
Never saw such a piece, any ideas besides mine?

Not for a candidate, but for a fully qualified doctor, actually. This is the 1938 pattern rank insignia for a Hitler Youth medical officer with the rank of Truppenarzt.

There were 5 different shoulder boards in this style:

- Oberfeldscher - life rune
- Hilfsarzt - life rune plus one lace bar
- Truppenarzt life rune plus two lace bars
- Hauptarzt life rune plus one rank pip
- Hauptstabsarzt life rune plus one rank pip and one lace bar
