    SA Tunic Question

    Hello. I was looking for a SA tunic to serve as a back drop for my SA dagger collection and located two with the same dealer, one of which is pictured at the following link. Would someone help me please and let me know if this one looks like a nice untouched original example that is ok to purchase. I would greatly appreciate and thank you in advance for your help. Regards

    Nothing can be guaranteed without a hands on. From the images posted, the tunic appears to be a nice period tunic for a member of a Reiter Standarte in Gruppe Hesse. The term "untouched" can have many connotations.

          Tunics

          I agree with Bob, but concerning the 1st tunic, please clarify: Are the collar tabs very dark blue or black? Dark Blue =GREAT!! Black = NO!! Also, is the collar piping and shoulder board cord light blue and red, or off-white and red? Should be light blue and red. On 2nd tunic, swastika tape looks narrower than usual. May just be variation.

            They look fine to me both, but the first one I like more, because it's from a Reiterstandarte (Marburg/Lahn)

            Best,

              REVIVING THIS BECAUSE I HAVE INTEREST IN THE grren tabbed tunic.Ok its labbelled Sachsen which obviously is wrong,it has black twist piping must be Kurpfalz or Nordmark.BUT the buttons are silver so must be Kurpfalz right?BUT AGAIN I cant tell the color from teh pics the first pic is emerald looking but the others look steel green,I looked up Standarte 110 which is in Heidelberg,so Kurpfalz would be correct.But I cant get by that first pic it looks so emerald green?Could it be the flash or is their a possibility its Nordmark?did they have a standarte 110 also in Nordmark and then the buttons are wrong if its Nordmark?{should be gold}
              Need an expert here.

                The tabs are from Gruppe Kurpfalz. No doubt about that. Gruppe Sachsen nor Nordmark doesn't had a Standarte 110.
                When the tunic has a Sachsen label, with Kurpfalz tabs, the result is very clear. Build up again.
