I wonder where I can find info about to whom a certain NSDAP number belonged to? Thankful for any info

I think many record are kept in the German Bundes Archievs and the American NARA archieves. But IMO it is very difficult if you are a novice in the world of researching

They don't make it easy to find this information and no one has complied it anywhere to date. I think a lot of party members went on to success in business, politics, and what not, after the war....so it will be a while before we see any all inclusive listing.
