German Negatives or movie for the NSFK

    Hello forum...

This stuff is not mine. It belongs to a friend that picked it up recently.

He asked me to post images... and ask what is this, and what might it be worth?

He found a film strip of some kind that belonged to the NSFK.

He thought about cutting it up... and printing photos off the negatives.

Are these massed produced films shown at meetings, schools, etc.... or.. are they rare, and/or valuable.

These are the images he e-mailed me for now.

    Thanks... Robert

IN MY OPINION, CUTTING UP THE FILM WOULD BE AN ACT OF INSANE DESTRUCTION OF A HISTORICAL ITEM WITHOUT ANY ASSURANCE OF PROFIT.

Indeed - there are computer set ups for making prints from film strips without destroying them.

This is a film strip probably for instructional / school / HJ use, and cutting them up would destroy a piece of history.

                    I feel the same way...

He paid $200 bucks for the film.... and thinks he could make more money cutting it up... and printing copies of interesting photos...

Any idea waht a film could be worth?

                    Thanks again... Robert

I'm thinking of attaching my Knights Cross to my motorcycle helmet - would you recommend drilling a hole in it or just welding it on?

                        Hi

Well does he have the original container. Here's a link to one I picked up a few months ago:
                        http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=248842
As for price I would say around 500 dollars. If he has the container for it a 1000 or so. NSFK stuff it's as collectable as other areas but he should pull a decent profit without cutting it.
