Sold by Reddick Militaria as a repro. Is there any evidence of actual wear of this type of ring by the HJ, or is it a fantasy? If this was actually used, by what ranks? (What exactly qualifies as an HJ leader?)

I don't know of any "HJ ring" - any example would be unofficial or fantasy. -
Most period rings were private purchase rings that you just bought from a jewlers shop or had made to your own design,there are loads of them on the market its abit of a mine field finding a real one.
There are loads of fantasy one about and loads of people trying to sell them as the real third reich thing
