Civilian/HJ schoe's?

Might be Hj. Do they have any markings? This was a common style of shoe in the old days, even here in the states. I have a pair unissued with RZM on the soles, wood peg construction, but mine have a front toe cap. According to photos a variety of footwear was worn that did not proscribe to regulations and I would bet some were simply civilian shoes of the same style as HJ was.
