It looks like a SA cap eagle

It's a SA "Lager-Mütze" side cap eagle.
If the background is black, it's for SA group Berlin/Brandeburg and/or Niederrhein.

Here with sewn on a SA-Wehrmann cap.

I just got in the mail and so I thought I would post some better pictures of it. What does the difference in color mean? What's one in this condition worth?

Back colors corresponds to the SA group location, black, as said is for Berlin/Brandenbourg and Niederrhein, cornflower blue was used by SA Group Oberrhein and Wartheland.

You could find this insignia on the different shows between $25 & $50.
