    A.H. Napkin from Berchesgarden???

    I hope this is the right forum for this...
    This is supposed to be from one of the soldiers that intered into the Hotel and got silverware, plates, bowls, napkins and so on, one soldier had 7 of these napkins and sold them to one guy, then he sold one to another and now Im checking ot see if it is original... anyone have any Idea's about such things, besides "huh huh, likely story...lol..) here are the pics, any help is appreciated..

    Being white material, it is hard getting detailed pics.. I would think that over 60 years, it would have yellowed somewhat....

              While I really know very little about these, I have some concerns about the one you've posted. Like you, I'd have expected at least some yellowing by now. What really concerns me is the loose threads on the reverse of the monogram. Maybe some other knowledgable members will chime in. Mine has certainly yellowed, but the monogram is tightly sewn with no loose threads on either side.

                Thanks for the reply, did not hold out much hope for it... Ill give it back to my friend and tell him the news...
