Veterans, DAF or Werkschar-Visor?

Hi!
Can anyone tell me more about this cap? It was anounced as a veterans cap. But I got the info that it could be a DAF visor hat.
Maybe Werkschar?
I looked around some forums and books, but did not find anything like this one.
The single piping is aluminium (looks white on these pics)
I bought it because of the leather chinstrap. It was really cheap. Now I think, I should keep it as it is. There are holes of an emblem at the top and at the crown.
What would fit there?

Looks like a DAf festival visor but I don't like the white piping....

I know of no regulations that all for the a middle ring only of piping (in white or silver). This style hat was used after WWII by the re-formed Kyffhauserbund, so its very possible that it dates from 1945-55. I would also be concerned about the missing sweatshield--a lot were removed because they were plastic, not celluloid.
Original DAF Fest hats and Kyff/DRKB visors are very common, and not that expensive--almost every site has one for sale. I recommend that you stick with a textbook example.
