    Ernst Rohms stuff.

Does anybody know if any of Rohms uniforms/paperwork/personal belongings exist somewhere? I know the nazis rubbed his memory out from their books etc but i wondered if any of his belongings went the way of the dodo also

I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF ANY ROHM MATERIAL SURFACING. AFTER HE WAS DEEMED A TRAITOR, IT IS LIKELY THAT ANY GOODS OF HIS WERE DESTROYED AS HE DID NOT HAVE ANY FAMILY. I HEARD AN UNSUBSTANTIATED RUMOR THAT GORING KEPT ROHM'S DAGGER AS A MEMENTO FO THE PURGE. HOWEVER, I PERSONALLY FIND THAT STORY DOUBTFUL.

      Bob,
I believe he did have family--I know his mother was alive in the 30s and there were also some other relatives. I suspect some, at least, of his stuff is still with his relations.

I think he had a sister too? I seem to recall reading a quote from her in one of John Toland's books that she did not believe the story of his aledged homosexuality.

        Cheers, Ade.

Maybe as a sister she just chose not to believe? Siblings generally know.

There was an documentary with the tittle NIGTH OF THE HUMINGBIRD about the events of the night of the long knifes, I saw it in my local PBS channel some years ago, I think I have it in VHS copy from TV but not sure where at my house, there was an old lady who was a family member of E. Rohms giving her views of that event. There also Albert Speer and I belive SS General Karl Wolf interviews talking about the events.
