Address Book of the Nazi Party

These address books are very rare, not many survived the war. It is similar in look and size to the Org books. This was the third and perhaps final printing, though it has been updated.

The 250+ page book was made as a two-ring binder so that as pages were updated they could be sent out to replace the pages that originally came with the book.

The book was printed specifically for the internal use of the Nazi Party at a very high level and the transmission of information from it by speech or writing was forbidden.

This copy came from the library of Der Reichskommissar für die Besetzten Niederländischen Gebiet - the office of Dr. Arthur Seyß-Inquart.

Anschriftenverzeichnis der NSDAP is divided into the following categories:

I: Alphabetisches Dienststellenverzeichnis der NSDAP
II: Alphabetisches Namenverzeichnis der Führer der NSDAP
III: Dienstrangverzeichnis der Politischen Leiter SA, SS, NSKK, HJ, NSFK, RAD
IV: Anschriften der Dienststellen des Führers
V: Anschriften der Organisationen der NSDAP
VI: Anschriften interner Reichsdienststellen der NSDAP (Reichsschatzmeister, Propaganda, Parteigericht, etc.)
VII: Anschriften der SA, SS, NSKK, HJ, NSFK, RAD
VIII: Anschriften der Gaue der NSDAP
IX: Anschriften der Dienststellen des Reiches (the ministries and their many offices)

The one I have is a reprint of the 1936 address book and it is rather well done, complete with brown divider tabs. I have only ever seen one of the reprint as only a limited number were produced.

Certainly not in the same league as Jeff's, but very useful

This book is complete through the Third Edition. I do not think there ever was a Fourth Edition or a 4th official mailing of address updates. There is no year listed, but I would say 1939-40, since Schirach is still listed as HJ leader.

Wow-- that is awesome. Does it also list the generals of the NSFK, NSKK etc etc?

I also noted that NSFK Korpsfuhrer Friedrich Christiansen is listed along with the Reichsleiters. Interesting indeed.
