    SA Kepi

This Kepi was on Ebay recently, but got pulled. As you all know, my field is visors, but this one looked good to me, but I am still learning in this area, and would like to hear other opinions.
Front--I believe this is for Warthe (cornflower blue?):

1073 is for my personal favorite maker, Pekuro--it looks like they used a very large section of pasteboard as a stiffener--is this correct for this hat?

            Any thoughts/opinions?

Nice original "Pekuro" SA group Oberrhein/Warthe cap .

The pasteboard is usualy used in heavy cloth type kepi, in the "summer weight" type, they are used as stiffener for the storage and delivery transport.
Possible it was "forgoten", but nothing unusual even if it's sewn in the lining.

Theatre serial storage number...? I've found the same type in a A-SS EM/NCO visor of the theatre of "Brno" (Brunn).

I've seen this style, with the permanently mounted reinforced treated cardboard side stiffeners--in fact on one cap, a prior owner (collector) decided to start ripping it out until he realized it was supposed to stay in the kepi. It's an uncommon but genuine variation.
