Wow, that really is in wonderful condition. Interesting design too. It seems to be emulating the HJ/DJ corner patches. Do you have any idea on when this one may have been made Bob? The August 1937 list shows Untergau 335 as having a total of 13 Mädelgruppen at that point so that gives a ball-park to start from.

MOST LIKELY, THE FLAG WAS AWARDED WHEN THE UNIT WAS FORMED. LOOKS PRETTY GOOD FOR BEING 70+ YEARS OLD! DUE TO THE NON REGULATION MANNER OF DISPLAYING THE UNIT NUMBERS, IT MAY BE AN EARLY FORMED UNIT.
YOUR PERIOD REFERENCES CERTAINLY HELP WITH APPROXIMATE DATING OF ITEMS. WE KNOW IT IS AT LEAST PRE 1937.

All the pennants of this kind seen for me before have the numbers directly embroidered on the fabric without the rectangle around. If original, like it seem to be, is a scarce, well preserved and very interesting piece.
