    NSDAP armband, original or fake?

    Hello guys,

I have 1 question about this band, is it fake or original?

Thank you, and best regards from Bart.

From Your Images, It Appears To Be A Fine, Original Example.

Thank you for the opinion! A schoolfriend give this band and a frontkampfabzeichen to me because I collect things of ww2..

              Hi,

Use a blacklight. If you can see the white part of the band, than it's a fake

THE BLACK LIGHT TEST IS ONLY RELIBLE ON OLDER FAKES. THE FAKERS HAVE LONG SINCE ADDRESSED THIS ISSUE. OF FAR MORE IMPORTANCE IS TO KNOW THE CONSTRUCTION METHODS AND MATERIAL USED.

As well MG, some armbands used rayon in their construction which being man made, will glow like a christmas tree but be original and correct. As Bob states, better to look at the construction and materials to determine originality..it is surprising how many mint items are still out there, and that scares people away..
