Thoughts on this set of badges?

Both fake.

Enamel wrong on the large badge, as well as the pinplate. Wreath is also wrong. Finish is not proper fire-gilt.

Small Fuess also has the fake pinplate and wrong lettering on the front characteristic of the fake badges that came out of Austria in the 1980s - probably Souval made.

These fakes often appear as pairs, sometimes with numbers taken out of the SS Dienstaltersliste.

yepp, poor fakes! not worth the material which they are made from!
