PERFECT EXAMPLE OF THE ORDENSBURG CUFFTITLE. ABOUT TEN YEARS AGO, AN AMERICAN COLLECTOR FOUND A VET WITH AROUND 100 OF THESE. THEY CAME OUT OF THE STOREROOMS OF VOGELSONG. THIS INSTITUTION WAS AN ALLIED COMMAND CENTER LATE IN THE WAR. THEY EVIDENTLY HAD A LARGE WAREHOUSE FULL OF UNIFORM MATERIALS AS NUMEROUS UNISSUED VISOR CAPS, BERGMUTZE AND SCHIFFEN HAVE ALSO TURNED UP OVER THE YEARS WITH THE SAME PEDIGREE.

by who was it worn please, students, school staff members, or was it more a general cuff tittle for the Ordensburgen administration.

I Have Never Found Any Period Documentation On The Ordensburg Uniforms. It Is My Understanding That This Cufftitle Was Worn By Both Students And The Overall Administrative Staff. The Individual School Cufftitles Were Worn By The Staff And Instructors Of Each Individual Institution. It Certainly Would Be Interesting To Locate Some Period Material That Actually Has Definitive Orders Of Dress For Not Only Ordensburg But Also The N P E A Facilities.
