Enamel "Heil Hitler" sign

This is a large enamel sign reminding the people to great with "Heil Hitler" (This community greats "Heil Hitler")

It is 31.5 inch by 16 inch and quite heavy.

I put an Iron Cross 1st class and a SA Sportabzeichen for size comparison on the enamel sign.

I have a couple of them myself. It was to remind folks that Guten Tag was not acceptable anymore. Do you have a photo of the back side? What is the base material used?

I should restate - That porcelain over steel? Looks like it has some repairs.

the material is thick enamel on metal. It has almost a porcelain appearance, but it is enamel. The black letters are on top of the white enamel. You can see that very good on the photo.

The back side has a black coating over the metal. It had some surface rust on the back side which I removed with oil and steel wool.

i can't believe how good the paint lasted. enamel is good stuff. the white stayed white and the red stayed bright as well. thanks for sharing.
