Grosse Segelflieger Badge plus.........

This came as a result of a trip to a neighboring village one day, when I was stationed in Germany in the mid-70's. Condition is obviously not the best, but the price couldn't be beat. It "cost" me a very interesting and pleasing afternoon of listening to the German vet tell of his experiences and drinking beer with him. Yes, it was a gift. He gave me the badge and urkunde along with the chart of his qualification flight, and the other 2 urkunden and medal bar. I also have his flugbuch, but it is packed away right now and not easy to get to at the moment. Although I have no inclination to part with it at present, I would appreciate it if somebody could give me a reasonable estimate of the value of these things.

Hi Ron,

I see similar badges (but in slightly better condition) selling for $2000 - $2500. They aren't in as much demand as say a 25 PAB, though. For an NSFK nut however, they are a must!
