    Transport Speer EM Tunic

This was brought back to the US by a veteran in Michigan. He shot the Speer man through the shoulder and the Speer man died. He took the tunic and pants, washed them many times and sent it home. The collar, which was originally brown, is washed out to an almost purple color.

One shoulder board is missing. I doubt I will ever find a match for it. the shape is more narrow than a combat board and the end is blunted.

I see no trace of an eagle being worn, on this tunic.

Duct tape can't fix stupid, but it can muffle the sound.

        Bob-
A Very Interesting Tunic. I Have Never Seen That Form Of Shoulder Strap Worn On Any Speer Or N S K K Tunic. Possibly, This Was A Work Uniform That Would Not Require Normal Insignia. Interesting Story With The Jacket. Do You Know What Part Of Europe The Vet Obtained The Jacket?

          Hello Bob,

The tunic and trousers were bought from the children of the vet. I have no other information and they were completely uninterested in anything but the money. I had requested they look for the missing shoulder board, but never had any response.

The trousers are a matching tropical type color and material of brushed cotton. It does have French cuffs and patch pleated pockets, so I thought it was a service tunic, not a drill or work tunic.
