I Personally Do Not Like The Looks Of This Piece. It Is An Attempt At An Early Kepi. They Were Made In Various Manners By Local Craftsmen. However, The Kepi Appears To Be Well Worn But The Chin Cord Looks As Though It Was Made Yesterday. The Stitching Between The Gruppe Collor And The Lower Flap Appears To Be Crudely Executed. This Could Be Explained By A Home Done Conversion From Am All Tan Body When The Gruppe Colors Were Introduced For Wear By Other Ranks The Lining Is Not Fit Well To The Cap. These Are My Thoughts From The Images Shown.

Yes i had my doubts about it with such a small starting bid, also bidders are kept private, a usual ploy on Ebay by sellers for to stop people contacting bidders to inform them, but its a good way to learn from the masters on this forum in what to look for when buying..
