Here is a new item from my DAF-collection. As you can see it is like the normal BDM "Kletterweste" - but only in very dark blue for the female DAF leaders, nice worn condition.

"Unlike their male counterparts, female DAF Walterinnen did not wear a uniform, although the question of one had been raised. In August 1934 a suggestion had been put forward that a dark blue Kletterweste be adopted for female leaders. It was not acted upon.....Samples of the dark blue Kletterweste were produced"
