IMO it's a fantasy piece. The bottom has the marking of Army mess hall dishware, which doesn't match the SS inscription or the Red Cross eagle.

And the eagle on the bottom is too big.

The beer mug itself looks brand new and the same as what you see today in pubs in Bavaria and probably other places too.

The few period one's that I have owned were marked 1/2L and not 0,5L. Whether they all were marked 1/2L I don't know but certainly all new one's are marked 0,5L.
