SA Flieger golden propeller for collar tab.

    Hello.
Silver propeller, first and second edition, were worn by SS and SA Flieger.
Please can someone tell me who wore the gold one.
Every opinion and comment is welcome.
    Thanks.
    Jannis.

I haven't checked to see if the Flieger-SA insignia is listed in any period regulations, but it's possible, like other SA insignia, that the color of the metal matched the button color of the SA member's group.

Thank you Erich, I think so too.
It would be nice if someone had the propeller on SA collar tabs and
      could upload the photos.

I don't have one, but I did check period uniform guides and gold or silver propellers were worn depending on the button color.

The official one, is the one with swastika within the circle.
The color white or yellow, according to the button-color, was already arranged in the Dienstvorschrift für die SA from 1932.
As far as I know it was no longer included in the Anzugs-Ordnung für die SA from March 1, 1934.
In Die Uniformen der Braunhemden by Freiherr von Eelking (March 1, 1934) it was still mentioned, but it was also said that
Fliegerstürme der SA und SS were incorporated within the Deutscher Luftsportverband since September 1933, for the
time being they were forming the Techniche Lehrstürme.
