    some unknown hanger

    has anyone ever seen this and knows what it is please?

    An over the shoulder sword hanger for wear under the tunic. The sword was fastened to it through slit in the tunic by the pocket on the hip. There were also shorter hangers that were worn on a belt inside the tunic.

      That makes sense, thank you very much. Since this is not my field but found me accidentally, what would be a fair price to sell to someone more interested?
