A very nice lot, hagen. Apparently the family had no other artifact(s) from the SA, though they kept an HJ Knife and an HJ Belt Buckle. Your display would look even nicer with an SA Belt Buckle...!

      Cheers,

      Br. James

Super find! Glad to see stuff like this is still being found. But I must agree with James that some more SA items in the group would be nice.

Thank you guys. The family told me he was in the HJ but did not join the SA. The ring was nevertheless in his possession so he purchased it privately.

            Hi hagen,

Since there were no "official" rings issued or awarded by the SA, this could only be a private purchase piece.

Perhaps the holder of these artifacts received this ring as a gift from an SA member, either to show support or to entice him as a HJ youth to join the SA?

            Cheers,

            Br. James

Many thanks for sharing your opinion. Of course he could have been an SA-Fanboy. Maybe some more documents appear and of course i will keep you updated!
