This belongs to a friend and he asked me to post it. He thinks it is for a political leader but it is a little different too, any help would be appreciated.

Bob, looks like a variant of the NSDAP political wreath that I have not seen before.
It appears to be original.




It seems to be a cross between the 1st type NSDAP wreath and the final pattern.
It may be a prototype.


Is there an RZM # on the back?

It was vet purchased many years ago by a friend. There is no RZM on the back, it is pretty cool!

Bob--I have looked, but have not found another example of your friends wreath, either in wear, on a hat, or in period photos.


It seems to fit in between the first style wreath and the final pattern:
