    Information on SA Pioneer Brigades

    Are there any sources I can use to locate SA Pioneer Brigade information? I am trying to location information on the guy who owned this dagger. He inscribed both his dagger, scabbard and vertical hanger with his name and brigade info.

    Pioneer Standarte ? (looks like 1)

    as far as I know there is no 275 at Niederrhein, but a 75, according the OSAF list from 1942.
    In the list from 1937 there is listed: Pionierstandarte 10 from Papenburg at Nordsee. No others
    were included in the official OSAF list.

    SHAEF mentions:
    10 Bremen (Nordsee)
    11 Papenburg (Niedersachsen)
    43 Königsberg (Tannenberg)
    47 Ülzen (Nordsee)
    84 Husum (Nordmark)
    85 ?? (Nordmark)
    261 Dies (Hessen).
    None of them are confirmed with OSAF information.

      Unless this individual did something extraordinary, was of very high rank, or had a high award, it would be difficult to find any biographical information about him.
