            I believe it’s a silver finish. The pics are very dark. If I’m able to get it (fingers crossed) I’ll of course upload the high quality photos this piece deserves.

                Hi Mil,

                Yes, I agree! It establishes that historic pieces were highly-regarded and permitted to be duplicated within the period -- pieces such as the Schmid-Ehmen FHH Eagle, for example. (The eagle in item #2388 in this catalog is loosely-based upon that design, IMO.) I always enjoy revisiting period catalogs!
