1933 Hitler Coin - Ein Volk Ein Reich Ein Fuhrer ??

    Hello,
I was recently acquired this coin 1933 Hitler / and was wondering if it was real or fake. Does anyone knew anything about these. I paid very little for it so I am just curious. My apologies in advance, I am not very familiar with posting and hopefully have done this correctly.

The coin has super detail and weighs exactly 1oz. (28 gr.). It is also engraved as if presented to someone and dated. Looks to be silver.

    Hopefully the photos come through.

Thanks and looking forward to replies.

It's not a fake. The coin is a dedication to "Fritz Schulheis, 25.4.33". So the original silver coins was

engraved with the name of Schultheis and the date. There was a special reason the add the name

Schultheis - could be a jubilee.

Is that a mint mark on the edge?

Yes, there is on the coin edge.

          PREUSS. STAATSMUENZE - FEINSILBER

I didn't realize it was there.

          Thank you

Made by the Prussian State Mint in .995 silver. Very nice.

Very nice indeed. Crisp details. I remember reading a post on the "other" forum and they labeled these as fantasy pieces. That seems like a lot of work for fantasy.

It’s actually not a lot of work, and it’s certainly a fantasy coin. I suspect it’s origin will be China.

Was the term Ein Volk Ein Reich Ein Fuhrer used before 1938? I thought it was to do with the return of states to the Reich, and particularly Austria. Was it a rehashed older slogan? Very interested to be corrected and learn more about it.

This medallion is in the Colbert Hyder book C-47, which was published in 1981.

Yes the saying was used long before the Anschluss.

36mm in size, was struck in silver and bronze

                      It's not a fantasy

Very nice period coin. I also have a similar coin with similar markings along the edge. (yours however has an even higher silver content)
