Some offered me two of these and they have an interesting glow to them but I heard that some material do and that laundering will also create that effect. I am looking for confirmation that they are legitimate.

Yes mine is the same as yours. It came with a short story and a list of names for provenance, but it was incorrectly attributed to the Eagle's Nest. If you hold the napkin up to the light then you will see the "Der Deutsche Hof" lettering stitched at the bottom.

Have a bunch of these plus a table cloth that came from a 101st vet. He also brought an updated set with tablecloth from the GI occupation era. The lettering is green and of course no hakenkreuz. I think I have the Nazi banner that was hanging in Der Deutsche Hof, that also came from this vet.

It would be great to see a photo of these items.
I have the creamers, mini milk jugs, tongs, sugar bowl, hot water pot, candle stick, ash tray, cutlery and the rarer set of porcelain coffee cups.
