    German to English translation

    Hello All,
Does anyone know a website with a good translation program.
I used to use BabelFish but now it wants me to download something.
Has anyone ever used this program, maybe I am paranoid but I do not download programs unless I know some one that has used it.
I need help and initially I was not going to post the pieces I need to translate.
But maybe someone will fid it easy.
I might need to buy another German dictionary but my old one that I lost did not help me much.
I would even use a service that charges if I need too!
Does anyone know of a service like this?
Thanks in advance to anyone and all that respond.
    I NEED HELP !!!

    Hi!
Go to Paper and photo items forum,

Near the top, is ‘Post Your Translation Needed Here,’ and they will help you!
Interesting item. Looks like a NSDAP document giving his party number.

The Honor Plate is attesting that Karl Huiber, DOB 16th Nov. 1913, was an Alter Kämpfer who had joint the NSDAP before Hitler's raise to power with membership number 594108.

The second is a dedication to a 40th birthday.

        They say:
        "Honor Plate
Mr. Karl Huber, born 16 Nov. 1913 in Haberzagl, had already joined the National Socialist German Workers' Party prior to the Führer's accession to power with membership no. 594,108 and thus is among the vanguard of the Third Reich.
May this serve as a lasting memory for future generations."

Haberzagl is in the Rottal-Inn district of Lower Bavaria.

        "To our Kreiswerkscharführer
        Paul Motzfeld
on the occasion of his 40th birthday for his faithful comradeship.
        Werkschar of the
        Schwelm Ironworks, Müller & Co.
        Schwelm, 13 Sept. 1940
        "

Schwelm is in North Rhine-Westphalia. The Schwelmer Eisenwerke were an important industrial enterprise and the major employer in the area. The company was founded by August Müller in 1886 and ceased production in the 1970s.

I've been usinbg QTransalate for the last couple of years and it's very good.
Just a small installer for your PC, select the text, click 2x CTRL and it will translate anything to anything You can also copy/paste the text in the program directly.
