    Collar tabs -- what branch?

I have not been able to find an exact match for these collar tabs. What are they? Thanks in advance.

at a glance one would say forestry, but the worn collar device is not as pictured in any of the - too me - known forestry regulations.
I rather would say they look like those of one of the many forms for the shooting associations.

Is there a symbol upon ther buttons. The photo was shown at eBay.

Thank you for having a look. Forestry seems to be a good guess, but like you, I have found no identical reference. I bought the photo about a week or two ago.

        Regards,
        Kevin

Perhaps the unusual inverted pleat pocket will point to an answer.

Someone suggested "Bavarian Landespolizei constable with alternative kragenpatten , from 1920 until 1934 ", but I have seen no reference for that.

Brigadeführer, easy. (sorry, too much beer) Seriously though, do the shoulder boards lead us anywhere?

the device for the Bavarian police (Landespolizei Freistraat Bayern) was different as the one in wear.

This is the best close-up I can get showing the boards and buttons.
