This piece looks very fine...is there any maker's mark on it?

And yes, this thread should be over in the Flag, Pennant and Standarte Forum, in order for more of our colleagues to appreciate it.

              Cheers,

              Br. James

Nice find especially with the socket but it seems to be missing the disc. It seems like most multi piece toppers usually are missing the socket or the disc (or it seems that way to me).
                Regards,
                Michael H.

Thank you Br. James no there no makers on this, they was made quite early 33-34 i guess and if i am not wrong both Hago and NSBO absorbed was into DAF or RAD i think around 1935.

                  Regards/ Tobbe

Thanks Mike yeah i guess its missing its middle dics ,here are some info
and a pictures i found at the collectors guild.

BACKGROUND: NS-Hago, the "National Sozialist Handwerks, Handels und Gewerbe Organisierung" (National Socialist Handicraft, Commerce and Industry Organization), was created in 1933 out of the earlier "Kampfbund des Gewerblichen Mittlestandes" (Fighting]-league of-the Industrial Middle-classes). In 1934 it fell under DAF, "Deutsche Arbeitsfront" (German Labor-front), control. In 1935 all NSBO, "Nationalsozialische Betriebszellen Organisierung" (National Socialist Trade-cells Organization), members skilled in crafts and trades became members of NS-Hago. It was later eclipsed by the DAF’s GHG, "Gesamtverband des deutschen Handwerks, Handels und Gewerbes" (Total-association of-the german Handicrafts, Commerce and Industry), which became the RDHdw, "Reichsstand des deutschen Handwerks" (National-class of-the german Handicrafts).

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: A cast alloy, nickle/silver plated, pole top in the form of the NS-Hago symbol of a vertical hammer with a black static swastika to its head, and wings with a span of 22cm extending from its handle. Overall length is 22cm

EC, I can't say that I've ever seen either of them (disc or socket) offered up anywhere (other than them being on a repro topper).
                        Regards,
                        Michael H.
