Hello, I assume that this is a fake, but this design existed or is pure fantasy?

I am going to have to agree with you the details are soft, too many pits and the swas....IMHO it's bad. I looked thru my info and can not find that specific design

I begin to think that imagination has no limits.

Yes..... imagination has no limits, those are pretty neat but I believe them to be 4th Reich as some members refer to pieces like these.

              I'll bet you're right, Michael.

                Hi Mike,

You are correct, this is a fake and yes this one existed, we have the original examples to compare with and we have the documentation from the foundry in Munchen where the originals were manufactured. If we compare the photos of this one however to the originals on the net it becomes obvious that you and Rlimike are 100% correct, this is clearly a recast of the original - soft details, pitted bronze and the base is wrong.

Also, happily the seller of these copies currently made and sold in Spain clearly labels them a recast of the original on his website

                Cheers,
                Michael
