Bracia Henneberg knife - HU marked

    Hi-

Can anyone tell me what this knife is, please? Overall length = 10 inches (25 cm). Edges may have been sharpened. They feel sharper than the butter knives in my kitchen drawer. WWW tells me (I think) it's made by a Polish company? But what is HU? And what does the script on the blade say? It looks electro-penciled.

Also, any suggestions of an approximate value would be nice, too. It will go on the eStand if all checks out. A friend was in Germany in the US Army in the 1980s and got it then and there and gave it to me a while back.

    TIA,
    Brian

Sorry don't know what HU stands for but the word under the manufacturers with a rough translation could be stainless or rustproof/rust free.

The film "Idiocracy" was originally released as a comedy. Now it has been re-released as a documentary.

Sarcasm is just one of my many talents!

      Hello,

      "H.U." stands for "Heeresunterkunft".
      Means "Army billeting / quartering.
