Red Cross 1st Class Neck Order

What do you think of this specimen?
It looks really nice (no markings), haven't seen many of these.

    nice

This is a fine example of an early 1937-1939 award.
I say early as Godet the maker of this one ,later enamelled the rear .
I have both types just beautiful items I think.
All is good the hanger and ring are also fine .I have not yet seen an original marked .
But that is not to say they do not exist.
Also fine is the ribbon .The nice consistent weave on the edge of the ribbon is 100%.
Tell me do you have a Godet marked case to go with it ?????? Please say yes .
A great piece outstanding in any collection .

        yes

        Shame on no case .
I have been collecting red cross for nearly 20 years now.i have all the others in original cases but not the 1st class ,neither have I had the pleasure of seeing or handling one.
The LDO ones I have ever seen with these and the social welfare 1st class have always been suspect.
        Regards Pete
