    Berlin police collar tabs

Infrequent portraits of members of the Berlin Freikor Freischützenkorps ("Free Rifle Corps"). After the dissolution of the Corps, its personnel joined the Berlin police (neue Polizeitruppe von Berlin). Buttonholes of the Berlin Volunteer Rifle Corps (Berliner Freischützenkorps) - the first metropolitan law enforcement structure.
A large number indicates a group (Gruppe), on the buttonholes shown this is the 2nd group. The small number indicates Abteilung - on the buttonholes this is the 4th abtailung.
Portraits of the ranks of the Berlin Volunteer Rifle Corps are quite rare, since this structure itself existed for a short time (1919-1920).

    Does the description match?
    Best Regards,
    Lib13.
