I have this arm band for awhile. I always thought it was a repro but I am not sure. It is soiled. Any opinions would be appreciated.

These are legit armbands. I have had two in my collection that differed from yours in the style of printing use and the use of Jm instead of Im. They were authorized by decree for use in the eastern territories. As to whether yours is an original piece, I guess you might check by testing a piece of thread if it is synthetic. You may want to check the printing technique and the ink as well . I'd expect a lighter shade on the outer side which is supposed to have been exposed to light and wear, not the other way round.

This one looks like it has typical fake aging to me. Generally this style of these armbands I avoid, as there are many fakes.

I always thought that it was a repro but I just wanted to see what others had to say. Now a days a lot of things are artificially aged but there are things that are dirty that are real. What I am getting at is that a friend of mine was remodeling an old house & found this in the cellar along with some mining equipment so the dirt obviously came from there. I did not pay anything for it & I am not defending it. I still think it is a repro. Who knows how it got there. This was 10 years ago. I saw some of them that have IM but this one has JM. Thanks for all your help.
