I would like to get your opinion about this set.
Is the cover of the case not separated from the bottom part?
Ribbon as such, does not look bad, but quality eagle is a bit low. Is this quality acceptable?
Is the cross original?

Hi Klaus,

No idea about the box and do wait for better opinions but IMO nice original 18 year cross and matching ribbon (50mm version). Not the best picts but attached are a few more, all by the same maker I think...Single mount gold is on 50mm ribbon like yours and the 2 unmounted ones are on 35mm ribbon but the machine embroidered eagles are all a bit different and the 2 unmounted ones have black backing to the eagles like yours. I think the pulled thread on the top of the eagle's head is what makes yours look more different than it is

Sorry the picts didnt make it even though they appeared in the preview...This has been happening to me a lot since they "improved things" to increase the number of picts you can attach. Personally I could live better with a max of 2 picts that made to destination rather than the 10 which wont even allow you to send 1

The subject piece is a very nice, original It is identical to mine which also matches my Rettenmaier marked 25 year piece.
