Bon , personne ne semble connaître cette médaille. D’apres Quelque recherche , tout ces médailles doivent avoir le E allongé. J’ai aussi remarqué qu’il n’y a aucun marquage sur ces médailles. Fausse ou rareté?

        hello

        Hi .
ime not going to say it is wrong ,,,,
All the ones I have had and have handled all tended to have a longer middle to the letter E in olympischen.
Ie the middle goes past the top and bottom...
        wait for more replies...
        Just my 6 eggs worth.
        Regards Pete

I would have to agree with Pete.I have six of the 1936 olympic medals and all have the longer middle to the last letter E in the word verdienstvolle. However it wouldn't surprise me if the fakers are now making them this way.I would like to see known originals that differ to the longer middle E type if they exist.

In terms of the medal shown in the link I really don't like the look of the base metal or the fact there's no apparent silver finish remaining-most originals should have at least some silver finish.

I have added some pics but tbh there not the best.

I only have 3 Olympia Commemorative medals (1 cased, 2 loose) but I cannot see the subject piece ... can it be posted here properly so the thread doesn't become useless over time ?

Ok, therefore if I understood well, this medal is a reproduction

                  no

                  Sorry to say ,,NO
Again the middle of the E does not come past the top and bottom.
The ribbon does not look right even at that angle.
If you look at the outer edge you can see clear 2 casting marks.
If you look at the 8 oclock and the 11 you can see them.
                  regards Pete
