Hello,

I received this little badge in a lot of items I bought and was wondering what it was for since there isnt a swaz? Was this for French volunteers?

It is marked RZM and 14 on the reverse.

Frranken is a region in Bavaria. The design is for a supporter of the early labor service that proceeded the RAD. Why it has a RZM is left to others.

The insignia is that of the Voluntary Labour service or FAD formad in June 31
They were asorbed into the Nationalsozrlistisher Arbeitdinest or NSAD before becoming the RAD in 35
Might not have spelt that very well.
Now the little issue with the RZM markings.
The RAD were a military work force NOT political one and there for not subject to
RZM control.
They did wear the red armband with the swaz but not sure why .
So I think we should be quite suspicious IMO .
