Fritz Todt badge in Gold

I aquired this Fritz Todt badge recently and believe there is a strong possibility it is a gold issue. I have attached photos. There appears to be traces of a gold wash that survived in the inner portions and edges of the badge.

Your thoughts would be appreciated.

I would agree that this does appear to be the private-purchase Gold grade of which hundreds were made.

However, it is not the award type and I have never ever seen an awarded version of the Fritz Todt Gold grade. That would be for me a personal Holy Grail!
