        I agree. Very nice M36 tunic with early, rarely seen, gray pre-war collar tabs. Everything looks original to the tunic to me. A rare tunic to be sure.
        I have never seen a Potsdam sleeve eagle before either. Most relics seen these days are from the US sector/Bavaria.

          Have to say that's a great looking tunic! Are the documents and other items in the one pic related to the tunic?
          Interested in the Gendarmerie - Schutzpolizei - Gemeinden - Feuerschutzpolizei - Wasserschutzpolizei - Etc. Looking For Anything Polizei Related!

              This sold on a Facebook militaria page for a price of $950 soon after it was posted here. I was watching it and now wish I'd have moved a little quicker.

                Could also have started out post war as a stripped tunic with original insignia nicely reapplied.

                  That's always a possibility.

                  Interesting it sold, maybe it will show up again with a little more information about the documents & other items.
